James Corden has come clean, following online rage by fans over a clip featuring Justin Bieber of the Carpool Karaoke car being pulled on a trailer., the television host cleared the air and explained why he didn’t really drive on that occasion., he said: “I’m sure many of you have heard I’ve recently been the victim of a scandal in the media and there have been some very serious allegations made against me.
“I want to get ahead of everything and address those rumours and assure you, my audience, that these accusations are not true.“Now I really hate that I’m about to say this right, but fake news. “I know this looks bad, but I just want to say right now that I always drive the car unless we’re doing something where we think it might not be safe, like a dance routine or a costume change or if I’m drunk.
“But in the case of Justin Bieber, it was a safety issue where we thought it was best to tow the car. Frankly, I kept getting lost in his eyes.” The host admitted that most of the time he’s “endangering the lives of the world’s biggest pop stars” and that he has only used a tow for a small number of celebs.
