Apple is apparently looking to explore various partnerships to integrate generative AI technologies in order to enhance its new Apple Intelligence platform.

According to Wall Street Journal , the company has been in talks with Meta to potentially use the latter's generative AI model. However, these discussions are not yet finalised and might not lead to a deal, the publication noted.

Apple’s interest in generative AI was prominently showcased at its recent Worldwide Developers Conference , where it also announced a partnership with OpenAI to bring ChatGPT to its latest iPhones, iPads, and Macs. Additionally, Apple senior VP of software engineering Craig Federighi hinted at the future inclusion of Google’s Gemini AI model in Apple Intelligence.

These potential collaborations could help the firms achieve wider distribution for their products through Apple Intelligence. The discussions have included ideas about AI companies selling premium subscriptions to their services via Apple’s platform, though the exact financial benefits of such deals are still unknown.
