While artificial general intelligence has consumed the conversations, it's the specialized expertise that will lead the path to productivity and unlock newer capabilities.

This is leading to the asymptotic plateau of stagnation that will create some semblance of intelligence but will likely be far too expensive and ineffective at doing expert-level tasks in any domain. Domains from surgery and cooking to cybersecurity and mathematics are bounded but still have substantial room for reasoning, creativity and expansion as compared to the game of chess. ASI will demonstrate expert human-like capabilities in such domains.ASI will behave closer to autonomous agents, a primary example of which in the wild is autonomous driving. Demonstration of cognition and the ability to reason will be the drivers for signs of intelligence.

However, the adoption of ASI will come with its own challenges. With the threat of humans losing jobs and newer attack vectors emerging, organizations will need to thoughtfully roll these powerful systems into production.
