The platform said it is going to join the Content Authenticity Initiative to help drive Content Credentials adoption in the video sharing world.The Chinese short video platform is also planning to include AI-generated audio-only content on the net soon. It is important to note that the platform already attaches a label to the AI-generated content, which is made in-app.
The company stated that it intends to let creators “safely and responsibly” express their creativity with AI-generated content while also not confusing its viewers.a partnership with the Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity . Auto-labeling will be done by launching the ability to read Content Credentials, a technology from C2PA.
In the months ahead, the company will also attach Content Credentials to any sort of content that is downloaded from TikTok.
