KABB reporter Yami Virgin posted video of the spectacle showing the Falcon 9 carry Elon Musk's Starlink internet satellites from Florida into space.

San Antonio got its very own glimpse of a Space X rocket in flight Monday evening as onlookers spotted the spacecraft overhead. The space company headed by Elon Musk launched its Falcon 9 from Florida's Cape Canaveral Space Force Station around 8 p.m., SpaceX reported.

journalist Yami Virgin started filming the rocket when she saw something puzzling in the sky Monday. In video footage posted on social media, a bright light moves quickly through the sky, then emits a circular cloud of smoke and disappears from sight. 'Those stars are clear and this thing is traveling. It's making a weird noise, ' Virgin said in the video, which she posted in hopes of finding out what she'd spotted.
