Assessment includes assignments, tasks, interviews and oral examinations in addition to written exams. Work experience is also a significant portion of the course, and marks are awarded for final exams, attendance and course work. Either way, the NCCA should be commended for the inclusive manner in which it is consulting stakeholders over the potential shape of the senior cycle.
