Israeli company unveils modular man-portable counter IED and drone device

Air defense systems have also seen major technological advancements to counter the rising threats from drones. However, they cannot be deployed on all fronts, especially in evolving areas of conflict. A portable system is therefore useful, but Netline has gone further and made it man-portable, too.. These systems have helped save many lives from IEDs and exist in various formats, including vehicular and rapid deployment formats, in addition to the man pack.

The C-Guard Modular ManPack is available in seven variants with options of using four or five modules and adding on multiple capabilities as per mission and field requirements. Each of the modular C-Guard systems is built to operate in rough environmental conditions without the need for periodic maintenance. Multiple units operating in the area can work together using GPS time synchronization and use electromagnetic and radio interference capabilities to ensure communication between them.
