Bruce Reed, the White House Deputy Chief of Staff, emphasized in a statement, "the strongest set of actions any government in the world has ever taken on AI safety, security, and trust."reported that the action stemmed from fears that rapid AI progress might result in more lethal bio-weapons and crippling cyber attacks.

Measures to prevent discrimination in AI algorithms were also noted, with an evaluation of potentially harmful AI-related healthcare practices and collaboration with international partners to implement AI standards worldwide.The Biden administration is planning to enhance its AI workforce, paving the way for experts to discover federal job opportunities at AI.gov starting today.

While US Vice President Kamala Harris, alongside top executives from American tech giants, arrived in the UK for the summit, the US government claimed that the executive order was "the most significant action ever taken by any government to advance the field ofthat the order was "really important" but one that "doesn't necessarily run in line with the UK's objectives and aims for the summit.
