SWEDISH music streaming giant Spotify said today it had filed a formal complaint with the EU Commission against Apple, accusing its US rival of stifling competition in the online music market. Analysts were quick to point out that there is no guarantee that the EU’s executive arm will actually investigate the case, or even be quick about a decision whether to do so.
