Pack raises $3 million for e-commerce technology; Skyminyr hauls in $2.5 million for artificial intelligence-based employee recruitment and retainment platform.

Two San Diego startups raised seed funding rounds last week, with $3 million going to Pack and $2.5 million for Skyminyr — both software platform companies.

“Building headless storefronts from scratch was capital and resource-intensive for brands,” said Cory Cummings, CEO and co-founder of Pack. “Over the years we have been building tools for developers and marketers that make these storefronts easy to implement and manage. This capital will accelerate the delivery of our low-code platform to allow brands, agencies, and freelancers to build powerful front-ends that allow brands to communicate with their customers.

Skyminyr raised $2.5 million in seed funding to expand its artificial intelligence software that helps companies recruit and retain employees in a tight labor market reshaped by hybrid and remote work.
