Hence why, in the final seconds of thefinale, it was Logan’s firm hand on the shoulder of Tom Wambsgans that told us everything we needed to know. Finally the serial sad sack had punched up instead of down.
This time it was Roman who was crumpled on the floor, Kendall who was comforting him, and Shiv who was standing motionless in disbelief as their father once again manipulated their love and shattered their understanding of their warped reality. But they have been here before, in one configuration or another, and they will likely be here again. This is a serpent that is constantly eating its tail.
