Kwara state High Court sitting in Ilorin has ordered one Kolade Balogun to control vehicular movement for three months in Ilorin as he was convicted of internet fraud and other related offences.Ilorin zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission had arraigned Kolade Balogun before the court.

and thereby committed an offence contrary to and punishable under Section 95 of the Penal Code Law of Northern Nigeria.”When the charge was read to the convict, he pleaded guilty. Defence counsel, Rotimi Oyagbola urged the court to temper justice with mercy, arguing that the his client is a first time offender.In his judgement, presiding judge, Justice Sikiru Oyinloye said the prosecution had proved its case beyond reasonable doubt considering the unchallenged and incontroverted testimonies of the prosecution witness.
