Malaysian Crime Prevention Foundation senior vice-chairman Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye said the revelation was based on the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission ’s research conducted last year.

“They were also exposed to cyber threats, such as online scams, cyber bullying and identity theft which caused them to suffer huge losses and also led to a tendency of them harming others,” he said after closing the state-level Crime Prevention Programme Among Youths, here, today.
