A name is a name never be ashamed of your heratige there is racism everywhere It’s not nice and it’s horrible I wish we could arridicate it but it’s something we have to live and something the baby will grow up with no matter what you call her/him.

There is nothing wrong with this, I avoided black names for my daughters too. Most of them sound daft anyway.

If you mean made up names combining some sort of liquor, car model, or anything ending in 'sha'... probably a good idea.

Way back when, I deliberately named my daughter a gender neutral name specifically so a CV/resume had equal weight. Sadly, with some people, ethnic names, gender specific names, still affect that CV. But would you want to work where this is the case?
