AI says those responsible must face justice for all the atrocities they have committed and urges Nigerian authorities to do more to protect civilians.

The human rights group, Amnesty International, has condemned Sunday’s bombing which claimed about 30 lives in Konduga Local Government Area of Borno State.The Borno State Emergency Management Agency saidlost their lives while 42 others were injured when three suicide bombers detonated Improvised Explosive Device in Mandarari community of Konduga Local government area of the state.

About 17 persons died instantly and the death toll increased to 30 on Monday as a result of lack of immediate medical attention. “We are calling on Boko Haram and other armed groups to immediately stop targeting civilians. All those responsible must face justice for all the atrocities it has committed, including the use of children for suicide missions.
