A worldwide technology outage had the Jacksonville International Airport dealing with flight delays and cancellations all day Friday.

Several travelers were impacted by the outage, having to scramble for new flights with different airlines.

A cybersecurity firm named Crowdstrike said the issue is not a security incident or cyberattack but a problem with an update they sent out Friday morning.“I did spend $800 on a ticket being non-refundable so I would like to see how that goes.” The marketing and public relations manager for the Jacksonville Aviation Authority said they noticed problems at this airport around 2 a.m.
