Lloyds and Halifax app and internet banking down

By Imogen Blake, Senior Digital Consumer ReporterCUSTOMERS with Lloyds Bank have been locked out of their accounts after the website and app crashed this morning.There are currently 667 reports of problems on website Down Detector.

One frustrated user tweeted: "Can't log into my online personal or business accounts with Lloyds Bank. Over an hour's wait to speak to an advisor... guessing it's not just me?" Another said: "I can’t login into my Lloyd’s app and it seems it’s an issue this morning for many people on DownDetector. Is system down or something?"

One customer reports being unable to see their online balance. They tweeted: "Is Lloyds mobile banking down ? I am unable to see any balances."Someone tweeted: "Is your mobile banking site down. Appalling service post weekend".
