Drawing upon his Native American heritage, Wyatt Redshield Gilmore runs a company that's helping the tourism industry and supporting charitable causes on reservation lands.

<p>KAYENTA, Arizona — While small businesses suffered during the pandemic, Native American-owned businesses were hit particularly hard and many are still struggling to get back on their feet.

 The family lived in Woods Cross until Gilmore's 10th birthday, then relocated to the small town of Kayenta, Arizona, on the Navajo Nation.
