SEREMBAN: Police have seized two Rolex watches worth some RM190,000 from a foreign couple believed to be involved in illicit drug-related activities here.
Nilai police chief Supt Abdul Malik Hasim said apart from the watches, his men also seized some 795gm of ketamine worth more than RM83,000 from the suspects during an operation at their unit at Star Valley in Nilai."Urine tests carried out on the couple, believed to be lovers, came back positive for ketamine abuse.Supt Abdul Malik said his men also seized RM80,000, an estimated RM26,000 equivalent in Chinese currency and a car worth some RM40,000 from the duo.
The case is being investigated under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 and Section 15 of the same law.
