Ecovacs has spun off a new"bargain" line called Yeedi and its latest big release, the C12 Pro Plus, proves that you can have top-of-the-line mopping robovac features in a sub-$500 package. More than that, it actually adds one big feature that other manufacturers need to adopt immediately. The Yeedi C12 Pro Plus is a self-emptying robovac with vibrating mopping pad technology. It sports an impressive 8,000Pa of suction with a tangle-free brush.
The C12 Pro Plus' pathfinding is impressive. It doesn't slam into furniture and accurately identifies room edges and carpeted surfaces . It also has excellent edge avoidance and can easily traverse small bumps . For a sub-$500 robot mopvac, its performance is impressively refined.), easily clearing debris and picking up hair without getting tangled. The tangle-free brush is rubber with rows of bristles, which are great at agitating carpet and loosening dust and debris to be suctioned up.
The only disappointing bit was that it doesn't automatically raise the pad of the mopping module. The bot is smart enough to avoid carpeted areas when the mop is installed but you'll need to swap it out with the non-mop module if you want to vacuum your whole house at once.
