In addition, consistent SLAs and constant blame-shifting can be a challenge when multiple parties are at play.
While SSE allows organizations to leverage their existing investments fully, one major downside is that organizations miss out on the networking and security synergies. For instance, the shared context between networking and security functions can provide much deeper and enriched insights for better security coverage, forensics, diagnostics and performance optimization.
While the tight-knit approach of native SASE delivers the coherence of a well-designed system, it is an"all-or-none" approach—organizations must place trust in a single provider rather than parceling it out among several parties.
