The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission and Microsoft have partnered to explore the potential of Artificial Intelligence in enhancing employability among Malaysians. This collaboration follows Microsoft's announcement in May of a US$2.2 billion investment aimed at supporting the country's digital transformation.

The memorandum of understanding signed between the two parties will focus on the socioeconomic benefits of AI, including preparing the future workforce with AI knowledge and digital skills. As part of this initiative, MCMC is pioneering the adoption of AI by utilising Microsoft software and ensuring responsible AI usage.
