Russia, China, and other large companies are using fake women created with artificial intelligence for clickbait content on social media.

Chris Hamer is a Jacksonville-based cybersecurity expert with 45 years of experience in the industry. The Associated Press reported an election counter in Taiwan was posted on social media and the person appeared to have made an error in counting votes to suggest voter tampering. It was quickly debunked as false.“The use of AI whether it’s impersonating females or not is to address differences in communication, language, format, colloquialism that allow them to provide a less alerting engagement,” Hamer said.“AI has done amazing things in cancer research,” Hamer said.
