According to the company, the expansion to the iPhone follows the successful launch of Luminar for the iPad and Apple Vision Pro in March. Beyond bringing Luminar to the phone, the update introduces numerous improvements that promise to empower “both amateur and professional photographers to create stunning images on the go,” regardless of their preferred mobile device.
“Redesigning and adapting our powerful software for the iPhone was a challenge we knew we had to take on,” says Ivan Kutanin, CEO of Skylum. “With Luminar for iPad, we developed a superior mobile solution, but it’s undeniable that many people prefer the convenience of being able to shoot, edit, and share photos using a smartphone while on the go.
