According to KAIST, G-Dragon received a letter of appointment as a visiting professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at KAIST after participating in the “Innovate Korea 2024” talk show held at the KAIST headquarters in Daejeon on June 5.
Hosted by KAIST and the National Research Council of Science and Technology , “Innovate Korea 2024” is an event where G-Dragon, Galaxy Corporation’s CEO Choi Yong Ho, and Lee Kwang Hyung, the president of KAIST, discussed future technologies related to artificial intelligence and K-pop. G-Dragon’s appointment as a visiting professor is valid for two years until June 4, 2026. In addition to this, he will also act as a global ambassador for KAIST and will help strengthen KAIST’s overseas promotion. It is expected that G-Dragon will stand on the podium to give a special lecture on leadership for undergraduate and graduate students, sharing his experiences as an artist and providing students with vision and insight into the world.
