AMD's MI325X is an advanced version of the MI300 series and is expected to be available in the fourth quarter.

Advanced Micro Devices has introduced its newest artificial intelligence processor, the MI325X. This advanced version of the MI300 series is expected to be available in the fourth quarter.

Further, the company announced that the MI400 series of chips will arrive in 2026 and be based on a new type of architecture called ‘Next.’“AI is our number one priority and we’re at the beginning of an incredibly exciting time for the industry as AI transforms virtually every business, improves our quality of life, and reshapes every part of the computing market,” AMD CEO Lisa SuThe releases and announcements from AMD came just a day after Nvidia released its next-gen AI chip, ‘Rubin.
