An AI-generated artistic image with the words “ALL EYES ON RAFAH” was shared more than 47 million times on Instagram, prompting discourse on the role of artificial intelligence in online activism.Those sharing the image included celebrities like Dua Lipa, Lewis Hamilton, and Gigi and Bella Hadid.

The fake image, uploaded earlier this week by pro-Palestinian activists, features rows and neatly organized tents in the desert stretching off towards snow-capped mountains, with several tents in the center spelling out “All Eyes on Rafah.
