Hyundai owners at risk of having their vehicles stolen may be able to get a free security upgrade and steering wheel lock this weekend. The automaker partnered with San Antonio police to hand out the free upgrades on Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Gustafson Stadium, 7001 Culebra Road. Vehicles from model year 2011 to 2022 could be eligible to receive the upgrade, according to the automaker's website. It takes less than 30 minutes.

An engine immobilizer is a security device that turns on automatically to prevent thieves from hotwiring a vehicle when it is off.
