Manchester City and Manchester United are set to vote on whether or not to scrap VAR in the Premier League from the start of next season.
In a statement explaining their decision to call a vote, Wolves said: "There is no blame to be placed – we are all just looking for the best possible outcome for football – and all stakeholders have been working hard to try and make the introduction of additional technology a success. However, after five seasons of VAR in the Premier League, it is time for a constructive and critical debate on its future.
Complaints have been raised about how long it takes for decisions to be made by officials at Stockley Park while there have been a couple of serious errors which have been made leading to apologies from the PGMOL. The Premier League would require a vast majority of clubs to vote in favour of scrapping the technology for the resolution to be passed.
"Clubs are entitled to put forward proposals at Shareholders’ meetings and we acknowledge the concerns and issues around the use of VAR.
