JOHN'S, N.L. — A Newfoundland and Labrador company that designed software to track and measure the socioeconomic impacts of projects is getting financial assistance from the province in a bid to expand.

It first entered the sector by developing a system to verify that local and Indigenous communities in Labrador were benefiting from the Voisey’s Bay Nickel Mine, which the company says paved the way for a new benchmark in the industry for local content levels, diversity of projects and capacity enhancement.
