Met Dept,No Ash Over Airspace

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Airports has extended its appreciation to an Aviation Security (AVSEC) member Corporal Mohammad Shafiq Safi’ai for his courageous and swift action during the shooting incident at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) on April 14.

The eruption, which occurred at 9:45 pm on April 16, 2024, saw Mount Ruang, standing at 725 meters above sea level, emit ash clouds, impacting air quality and visibility in nearby areas.
