District 9 candidates tell us the best and worst elements of Prop E. The new proposition allows police to use facial recognition technology.

In our “Meet the Candidates” series, we are asking every supervisorial hopeful in the November 2024 election one question each week. Candidates are asked to answer questions on policy, ideology, and more in 100 words or less.In terms of political happenings this week in the district, the Bernal Democratic Club will meet Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Bernal Heights Neighborhood Center, 515 Cortland Ave.I will be at Hey Neighbor Cafe at 2 Burrows St. on Wednesday, April 17, at 11 a.m.
