Xplore making progress and surpassing commitments on rural P.E.I. high-speed internet expansion

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Xplore Inc. says it has made significant strides in improving high-speed internet access across P.E.I., surpassing its targets for connecting homes.

Key accomplishments include connecting nearly 3,400 premises to gigabit-speed fibre internet, with plans to reach almost 4,000 — about 1,000 more than originally committed to by this August.Purple Cow Internet expanding internet services to Newfoundland and Labrador, P.E.I. With approximately 420 kilometres of fibre optic infrastructure laid so far, Xplore looks to complete another 234 kilometres before year's end.
