An expert in surveying, Surveyor Israel Taiwo has advised licensed surveyors in the country to adopt modern technology to meet the changing face of surveying.
He said this in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State capital at the Annual Mandatory Continuous Professional Development Programme, organised by the Nigerian Institution of Surveyors , Ekiti State Branch.NLC, LP battle for supremacy “Government can actually do so much to make this work. We are trying our best at NIS. We have just been able to place a drone to make our jobs more consistent.
“It can help us and others to get results like land use, land cover, and several other things. We would like the government to recognise our efforts because if we are trying to make things easier for people at our own cost, it would be better too if the government is committed to what we are doing.
