It's been nearly a decade, but Dyson is back again with a D-shaped, candy-hued, overengineered, low-profile robovac that's here to prove attention to detail can win in a crowded market.
In the short time I've spent with the 360 VisNav I've had to rescue it exactly once . This is exponentially less than other bots I'm testing that have forward-facing cameras and onboard AI processing. The comparatively oversized brush bar does an impressive job of moving long hair and pet hair into the bin without getting trapped around the brush or the roller mechanism. I have robovacs vacuum my house five days a week and the rollershave trapped hair that needs to be cleaned away. Not so with 360 VisNav. This helps maintain the robovac's effectiveness and avoids potentially dangerous situations like hair being compacted into the roller bearings and smoldering .
You can also use Alexa or Google to tell your 360 VisNav to clean specific rooms. That's the one nice thing about the persnickety naming rules in the MyDyson app, every room in your house has an exact name.
