China's latest stealth tech promises invisible fighter jets, says report

Plasma stealth technology is a concept that aims to reduce the detectability or the radar cross-section of an aircraft by using ionized gas or plasma. While the concept of plasma stealth technology has been studied and researched for decades, practical implementation and its effectiveness remain subjects of ongoing debate and research within the defense community.

Tan Chang, a scientist working on the project, highlighted in a published paper that the new technology offers several benefits, such as a straightforward design, adjustable power range, and high plasma density.major aerospace defense contractor, suggest that this innovative solution could soon be applied to different military aircraft to meet China's increasing need for advanced military capabilities.
