The Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, Dr. Bosun Tijani, has said that the Federal Government’s planned Three Million Technical Talent (3MTT) programme has crossed the one million mark in terms of applications received thus far.

Tijani, who said the Federal Government would firm up plans as regards it, disclosed that the Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy would soon announce the next line of actions as regards the 3MTT.

Recall that the Minister had announced a N1 billion funding for the programme to be provided by IHS Telecom. According to the implementation plans released by the government in October, the training will be held in three phases. He said the first phase of the programme, executed in collaboration with the National Information Technology Development Agency , would involve multiple stakeholders, including fellows, training providers, partners and placement organisations.
