The Monday letters page agrees Sony is concentrating too much on hardware and not software, as one reader enquires after Fashion Dreamer.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 – is it being unfairly treated? To join in with the discussions yourself email gamecentral@metro.co.uk Bobby Kotick writes…Nobody likes talking about Call Of Duty more than people who don’t play Call Of Duty, it’s amazing really. I don’t get it. People who don’t play it dragging it for the campaign length when it’s only one third of the package. Even since Modern Warfare back in 2007 people have enjoyed the multiplayer element for far more hours than the campaign.

Spider-Man 2 has only just started to push thing’s graphically and to be quite frank Zelda looks beautiful and probably runs on something with less oomph than the phone I’m typing this on. Why is that relevant? As consoles push up the power, it takes more hours and commitment to extract the very best and the triple-A games which are costing nearly as much, if not more than, movies will take longer to develop and be perhaps even more generic to ensure success.
