Across the US and Canada, Airbnb's AI-driven anti system will take steps to identify potentially-high-risk booking requests for one- or two-night listings for entire homes over the weekend leading up to Halloween. The technology identifies a series of various indicators of disruptive or problematic parties, such as the length of the trip, distance to the property, and the time before the booking.
Customers may still book Airbnb reservations through Halloween, though if you're planning to, you'll have to confirm that you understand“While disruptive parties are rare, we want to try to reduce the risk of them even more," Naba Banerjee, Airbnb's head of trust and safety said in a media release. "Our AI anti-party system is an important tool in helping us to do that, and we’re optimistic it will have a positive impact for our community and neighborhoods this Halloween.
