China is more generously funding artificial intelligence research than the U.S., some researchers say. A new study suggests that's paying off.

The Allen Institute for Artificial Intelligence, a Seattle-based nonprofit that conducts research and engineering projects, found that China is drawing close to the U.S. in the number of its AI research papers that are among the top 10% most cited, a measure of the highest-impact research.

China is a demonic country and their AI is sure to reflect that because it depends upon the raw data that is fed to the machine. When the source is FOUL, the result will be fouler.

Really sad

The $25 billion the Pentagon is proposing to spend on nuclear weapons in 2020 is meant in part to stay ahead of China's nuclear arsenal, which is much smaller than America's but growing. It's a matter of priorities in a computer-driven world and the US is living in the 1950s.
