group lauded the minister's dedication to constructing new Super Highways and using cement technology for road pavement construction, a move approved by President Tinubu. A statement by the factional Secretary-General of Ohanaeze, Okechukwu Isiguzoro, said the cement concrete innovative approach, which promises roads that will last more than 50 years, was initially met with resistance from some contractors who cited the high cost of cement as a deterrent.

The high demand for cement technology has led to a decrease in the prices of cement, eliminating any excuses for not implementing Senator Umahi's recommendation for cement technology.' The Ohanaeze noted that the 'Nigerian populace's expectations for durable roads built with cement technology are now feasible. 'The craving for roads that will last 50 years has made Senator Engineer Dave Umahi a celebrated figure and the pillar of President Tinubu's administration.
