Firefighters in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, responded to reports of smoke this afternoon at the campus of Lake Superior State University.
The fire department was called just before 2:30 p.m. to the robotics/engineering wing of the Center for Applied Science and Engineering Technology building.The building was evacuated, with people required to stay on the south side of the Cisler Center due to the east winds blowing the fumes and smoke through the Cisler parking lot.Our sister site, SooLeader, will provide more information as it becomes available.
