is on track to generate $10 million in annual recurring revenue by the end of the year, the company’s chief executive said, after KPMG tipped in $16 million of working capital to fund its growth over the next three years.
Charlie Wood was appointed chief executive of Wiise after KPMG hired him to write a strategy for the software business. “It gives everybody comfort that what we’re doing is actually going to provide a decent return and that we’re heading in a direction that’s going to give KPMG some repeatable learning as well,” Mr Wood said.and sells cloud-based enterprise resource planning software to mid-market businesses which have outgrown Xero but do not require all the features, or costs, of Oracle or SAP’s enterprise resource planning software.
Mr Wood – whose CV includes a stint as a vice president of Salesforce after the tech giant acquired his start-up and the first local boss for Dropbox Australia – was offered the CEO role in 2021 after KPMG hired him as a consultant to develop a strategy for Wiise.
