Pikom, in collaboration with MDEC and CyberSecurity Malaysia, has unveiled the Malaysia Data Security Governance Reference Book: Unleashing the Value of Reliable Data

Vital for companies to address cybersecurity in digital transformationThe National Tech Association of Malaysia , in collaboration with the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation and CyberSecurity Malaysia, has unveiled the Malaysia Data Security Governance Reference Book: Unleashing the Value of Reliable Data at the Cyber Digital Services, Defence & Security Asia . This initiative aims to enhance Malaysia’s data security governance maturity and efficiency.

Ong Chin Seong, chairman of Pikom emphasised that the primary goal of data security governance is value creation. 'Additionally,' he added, 'it serves as a guide to data security governance and safeguarding national data sovereignty. “I hope this book will raise awareness of the importance of data security in Malaysia. Together, we can create a more secure and trustworthy digital environment."

He said,"The Malaysia Data Security Governance Reference Book is a timely resource for organisations embarking on digital transformation and is a crucial guideline in supporting the Malaysia Digital Economy Blueprint."
