Recently here at NorthantsLive, we've been really interested in testing AI and pushing it to its creative limits. We first asked ChatGPT to write a poem about Northamptonshire, and it was pretty good before we then upped the ante and asked it to create a county-wide underground railway system.
Sounds pretty easy right? Well, you're wrong. While it was easy for the AI to pull together various different Northampton landmarks, apparently it was very difficult to create a system linking these up.Take a look at the proposed route AI created below: We tried to follow the main roads because surprisingly, there isn't a lot of room to create a whole new system in Northampton with ploughing through residential or shopping areas. However this then defeats the point of a tram system which you would like to hope is quicker than cars and buses.
