Kota Kinabalu: The E-Smart programme targeted at least the involvement of 350 fishermen Statewide to increase their income potential via use of technology.

Ko-Nelayan General Manager Yusof Awang Besar said 120 fishermen have been given exposure and training regarding the e-Smart application since 2021.“We are working with the Angkasa Malaysia Agency to make the e-Smart application a success. This collaboration aims to bring innovation to the fishing community and the fishing industry in Sabah.
