The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) chief on Monday, July 10, welcomed the issuance of Executive Order (EO) No. 32, which aims to streamline permits of telecommunications and ICT infrastructures. ManilaBulletin

DICT Secretary Ivan John Uy said the EO "will improve the public's access to reliable connectivity," pointing out that "this measure will be a vital component in ensuring that no Filipino will be left behind in this digital age."

"The issuance of EO 32 is a crucial step in our goal of attaining a digitally inclusive nation. As we pursue the streamlining of requirements for the construction of telecommunications and ICT infrastructure, we have removed the roadblocks that impede the provision of safe and reliable connectivity to all Filipinos."With the issuance of EO, it also summoned the opportunity to assemble a Technical Working Group on Telecommunications and Internet Infrastructures.
