US bans its own companies from dealings with Huawei | Sky News AustraliaThe United States has banned its companies from buying equipment from Chinese tech giant Huawei.\n\nChina claims the US is using state power to 'smear and attack' Huawei as US-China tensions continue ahead of scheduled trade talks.\n\nA suite of 23 charges was filed against the tech firm and its Chief financial officer, Meng Wengzhou including accusations staff were offered bonuses in exchange for stealing technology from other companies.\n\nAustralia's own ban on Huawei yesterday saw TPG pulling out of building a 5G network here.\n\n\n\n\n\n That makes me want to buy a Huawei phone.... I wouldn’t trust anything that comes from, or out of China! Just look at the fake and/or non-existent products continually advertised on social media platforms by Chinese sellers. If scamming is engrained at that level of Chinese society, it’s most certainly in the upper echelons
