ROME : Italy on Monday earmarked 30 million euros to improve the skills of unemployed people as well as those workers whose jobs could be most at risk from the advance of automation and artificial intelligence.
The remaining 20 million euros will be allocated to help unemployed and economically inactive people develop digital skills that would improve their chances of entering the job market, FRD said. The growing spread of artificial intelligence and automation and the rapid development of tools such as ChatGPT have attracted attention from lawmakers and regulators in several countries.
