According to a statement on the website of the Cyberspace Administration of China - China’s internet regulator - providers of AI services have a responsibility to make sure all content is accurate, respects intellectual property and does not discriminate or endanger security.These announcements come after one of China’s largest tech companies Baidu Inc. unveiled its new AI chatbot ERNIE, rivaling that of OpenAI’s ChatGPT, back in late March.
